LOMBA ESAI-NARASI PENDIDIKAN KRITIS 2011

Preambule

Sebagai gerbang masa depan Indonesia yang lebih baik, pendidikan sering diabai, sering tak dilakukan dengan dedikasi profesionalisme tinggi. Hanya sebatas mengajar 'apa adanya', tak lebih, hanya menggugurkan pelaksanaan kurikulum. Ini bisa disimpulkan melihat prestasi anak negeri yang masih bisa dihitung dengan jari, kondisi politik-ekonomi-sosial-budaya yang tak mencerminkan pelakunya berpendidikan tinggi, tak menjunjung nilai-nilai moralitas-universal. Semua semakin karut marut.

Karut marut pendidikan selama ini bisa kita lihat dari filosofi pendidikan yang membebankan peserta didik layaknya mesin, target kurikulum yang tak berpihak pada kemampuan dan kemajemukan daya peserta didik, pelaksanaan proses pendidikan yang menggunakan kekerasan dan segala anasir subversif, guru tidak kreatif, kaku, tidak menyenangkan. Dan anehnya semua itu seperti sengaja dikekalkan oleh pemerintah. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pemerintah tak serius mengubah arah pendidikan menjadi lebih baik, hanya mengandalkan politik anggaran pendidikan 20 persen saja. Itu tidak cukup.

Daftar Gaji PNS tahun 2011


Gaji PNS 2011 naik lagi 10%, kenaikan gaji ini berlaku untuk semua golongan Pegawai Negeri Sipil/TNI/POLRI dan kaum pensiunan. 
Pemerintah dalam RAPBN 2011 berencana menaikkan gaji pokok sebesar rata-rata 10 persen bagi PNS/TNI/Polri dan pensiunan serta tetap akan memberikan gaji dan pensiun bulan ke-13 bagi PNS/TNI/Polri dan pensiunan.
Melalui kebijakan ini penghasilan PNS dengan pangkat terendah meningkat dari Rp1.895.700 menjadi Rp2.000.000, dan khusus bagi guru dengan pangkat terendah, pendapatannya meningkat dari Rp2.496.100 menjadi Rp2.654.000.
Sementara itu, bagi anggota TNI/Polri dengan pangkat terendah, penghasilannya meningkat dari Rp2.505.200 menjadi Rp2.625.000. 
“Perbaikan pendapatan itu dimaksudkan agar para guru dapat melaksanakan tanggung jawabnya sebagai pendidik generasi mendatang bangsa,”
Bandingkan dengan Daftar Gaji PNS tahun 2010.
Tunjangan PNS pengertiannya pendapatan sah yang diterima seorang PNS sesuai jabatan dan status.
Jenis Tunjangan PNS :
1. Tunjangan Keluarga yang besarnya untuk Istri/Suami : 10 % dari gaji  pokok, sedang anak 2 % dengan maksimal yang dapat diajukan 2 anak.
2. Tunjangan Pangan sebesar nilai beras per 10 kg/orang yang masuk daftar gaji.
Perdirjen Perbendaharaan Depkeu Nomor Per-57/PB/2009 Tanggal 30-11-2009 menetapkan tarif beras sebesar Rp 4.950,- per kg.
Berdasarkan Perdirjen Perbendaharaan Depkeu No 67/PB/2010 tgl 28 Desember 2010, pemberian tunjangan beras dalam bentuk uang ditetapkan menjadi Rp 5.656 /kg. Penetapan harga  ini berlaku mulai 1 Januari 2010,  sehingga PNS maupun pensiunan akan menerima kekurangan selisih harga.
3. Tunjangan Jabatan, merupakan tunjangan bagi PNS yang diangkat dlm jabatan struktural maupun fungsional
Karena kenaikan gaji ini berlaku sejak bulan Januari 2011, maka tentu saja akan ada rapel/kekurangan gaji, namun bagi Instansi Vertikal yang pembayarannya dilakukan oleh Kantor Pelayanan Perbendaharaan Negara, maka untuk pembayaran gaji baru beserta kekurangannya masih menunggu Peraturan Direktorat Jenderal Perbendaharaan sebagai Juknis-nya dan tentu saja menunggu update referensi aplikasi GPP 2011, mohon bersabar, kemungkinan besar akan segera dibayar di bulan April 2011 atau paling lama bulan Mei 2011....
 
Sesuai Surat Edaran Petunjuk pelaksanaan pembayaran gaji pokok tahun 2011, SE Direktur Jenderal Perbendaharaan nomor SE-9/PB/2011, Gaji Pokok baru dapat dibayarkan bulan April 2011 dan selambat-lambatnya sudah harus dibayarkan bulan Mei 2011
Untuk satuan kerja yang pembayaran gaji-nya dilakukan oleh KPPN, dapat segera melakukan update aplikasi GPP 2011, yang dapat di unduh di web Perbendaharaan.go.id atau dapat menghubungi langsung customer service officer pada KPPN terdekat. 

Nuclear Energy

Dangers of Nuclear Energy


While nuclear energy offers a source of greenhouse emissions-free electricity, it also poses dangers that are unique to it as an industry, for it is the only source of power that produces radioactive waste and has catastrophic consequences in the event of a massive safety failure. While the hazards posed by the waste products of nuclear energy are similar in some limited respects to those posed by other toxic industrial processes, radioactive spills have a the potential to poison the landscape for centuries, not years. Meanwhile, the perils of a reactor accident are incomparable to those of any other industry.

Identification
Nuclear energy is the process which converts heat produced by a controlled nuclear fission reaction, first, into kinetic energy by means of a turbine, and then into electricity by means of a generator. In this respect, it is no different in its general aspects from other thermal power plants that derive their heat from the burning of fossil fuels, or from geothermal sources. The main source of danger from nuclear energy stems from the nuclear fission reaction and the wastes produced.

Physics Contribution

The development of science and technology to bring benefits and greater convenience in human life. The progress of science and technology is certainly supported by progress in basic sciences such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Astronomy, and Physics. In this case, Physics as one of the basic sciences, contributed concepts, principles, and laws in the underlying science and technology development. The more rapid advancement of human life will require increasingly large demand for energy sources. Now these people are faced with the depletion of fossil-based energy supply. Attempts have been made for more efficient use of fossil energy sources that are categorized as non-renewable energy sources. Efforts savings and efficiency must be supported also by efforts to seek other energy sources, especially renewable energy sources (renewable energy resources). Some energy sources are considered promising include solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, nuclear energy, biofuels, and so forth. Physics as a science foundation has a very strategic role in the development of renewable energy. Physical Science plays a major role in the search for renewable energy sources, the increased efficiency of utilization and of no less importance is the improvement of human security and safety both in the process of energy exploration and use. For this purpose, intensive research on various fields based on the physics must be one of the principal concerns and priorities. To develop study physics in college simply is not enough height or Research Institution, but should start early in schools Elementary and Advanced schools for interest in physics can be more extensive.

Disaster Early Warning System

Disaster Early Warning System is a comprehensive system that includes two main components, namely:

    
* Upstream, the mechanism of data collection equipment placed on the ground, sending data to the central data processing, data analysis and process information, to the delivery of early warning to the authorities and the whole community. Upstream activities is very full of technology, ranging from monitoring earthquakes, sea level, telecommunication systems, transmission and processing of data, information and communication systems;
    
* Downstream, another part of the Disaster Early Warning System, which govern how the delivery of this early warning to local authorities and communities, how the relationship between central and local governments in the delivery of early warning and how the readiness of all parties, both at the center, in the region and in the community in following up this early warning. Coverage of these downstream activities ranging from mitigation, preparedness, and responsiveness and capacity building (institutions, communities, and individuals) in responding to disaster early warning in accordance with the procedure Fixed Early Warning System to the readiness of the community itself in response to the system.

1.      Timbanglah massa beban pertama (m) dan catat hasilnya ke dalam tabel.
2.      Gantungkan pegas dan ukur panjang mula-mula pegas (lo) serta catat ke dalam tabel.
3.      Kaitkan beban pada ujung pegas, amati dan ukur panjang pegas sekarang (lt), catat ke dalam tabel.
4.      Hitunglah pertambahan panjang pegas (Dx), dengan cara Dx = lt – lo
5.      Hitunglah konstanta pegas.
6.      Ulangi langkah 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 untuk massa beban yang lain.
7.      Hitunglah konstanta pegas rata-rata dan buatlah kesimpulan.

PENGELOLAAN ALAT DAN BAHAN LABORATORIUM FISIKA


I. PENDAHULUAN
            Penyimpanan/pengelolaan alat dan bahan laboratorium merupakan bagian dari manajemen laboratorium. Manajemen Laboratorium  (Laboratory Management) adalah usaha untuk mengelola laboratorium berdasar konsep manajemen baku. Bagaimana suatu laboratorium dapat dikelola dengan baik sangat ditentukan oleh beberapa faktor yang sangat berkaitan satu dengan lainnya. Beberapa peralatan laboratorium yang canggih dengan staf profesional yang terampil, belum tentu dapat beroperasi dengan baik , jika tidak didukung oleh adanya manajemen laboratorium yang baik. Oleh karena itu manajemen laboratorium adalah suatu bagian yang tak dapat dipisahkan dari kegiatan laboratorium sehari-hari.
